Surgery update
J posting again:
Surgery went well. Discovered cervix was slightly dilated but baby’s bags weren’t visible. Had to adjust membrane slightly, increasing risk of infection. Recovery has been slow and painful, but contractions have been stopped and 2 sutures were placed in cervix. Been struggling with no movement requirement and catheter, but hopefully tomorrow she can be discharged. In the morning normal MD will come to develop plan for remaining of pregnancy. Which will most likely involve moderate to constant bedrest. Will update when possible…Thanks for all your support and kind words!
Two days with all the nurses and medical attention is okay — if necessary !

Ah. Glad to hear that she’s alright and the surgery was a success. Not that i wanna scare you but keep a very close eye on her on the days after her surgery. My cousin when she was pregnant with her twins had the same issue and when they did stitch her cervix they also had to mess a bit with the membrane and she ended up with an internal infection that spread to the twins. So please keep an eye on your lovely wife! If she starts to feel even a little bit strange and gets even a bit of a fever it might be best to check in with a doctor.
Or i could be worrying too much for you guys haha. Since i’ve been following you since the pair of you got pregnant and you had been doing wonderfully till this cervix stitching. So i believe you guys will be totally fine!
